Apologies in advance in case this is in the wrong place, but it is the general knife discussion section after all. Ive been worried lately by reading things about how there are fake knives out there being sold to customers and them being stuck with the overall crappy product and mental let down. Ive ordered 4 knives from this site, a spyderco bug, spyderco paramilitary 2, victorinox pocket pal, and victorinox secretary. Are there any chances of these being fake? I only look for quality ,legitimate products and if i ever had a fake it would be very upsetting, since money is tight. I wouldnt want to waste it on something i would get screwed over with. The site ive ordered from is knifecenter. Is there anything fake being sold from this site? And would there ever be fakes that could go into customers hands? Ive heard about amazon being iffy, especially when people send back fakes and they are then sold to others. If the site is actually selling genuine knives of every company, please let me know, just for peace of mind to convince me i havent made a bad mistake and that all of my knives are genuine, real products from their respective companies. Thankyou

I have no experience with them but I have noticed a picture of a fake knife on their site....take it for what it's worth....Benchmade 3310. I spotted one of these at a local gun show and it's supposed to be a model 3310 but the blade is marked 2268 (or some oddball number like that).

I took a close look at their picture and it's definitely not labeled 3310 and it has the light colored deployment button which is also a tell tale sign of the fake.

I'm not saying they are selling anything fake, but the picture ain't the real thing.

Here's a reference picture from BM's website
