I have tagged Benchmade Benchmade a few times and never see a reply. Last post was February one time, then some posts not many for 2021.

Is Benchmade Benchmade still around? Would be nice to be active again in the forum and answer questions.

I read an article reporting the son took over the company last year October. December is when you guys had a parts shortage (and still do, apparently). A few months later, we have a lot less knives to customize.

Will the knives that were removed, such as Griptillian and Barrage, be in the Customize menu in 2022?

Assuming the answer to the above question is NO, will there be other knives added to the Customize menu in 2022?

What is the focus of the company going forward?

Here is a quote from an article I read: “My immediate focus is to ensure that Benchmade continues to produce the finest cutlery in the world while increasing efforts to drive our technological edge,” said deAsis.

My experience with Benchmade as a company hasn't been stellar. Long wait times (service and product), incorrect information reported by customer service, I was sent the wrong knife after waiting 3 months.... Benchmade products are fantastic, though. The laser engraving is very convenient for the customer, too.

Well today is Thursday, so Benchmade Benchmade should have had plenty of time to answer, interact, maybe give us some info. I've found this forum is going the way of the Emerson moderator, missing in action.

We won't give out all of this information. I can tell you that capacity is not infinite and we are very busy. When we have to cut out product offerings it is almost always to make room for new offerings. We can't always keep everyone happy with those decisions. Sorry to hear about your experience with customer service.
