I bought a Benchmade at a pawn shop. The price was so low, I figure it was stolen.
Prove to me that it's yours (it has a serial number), and you can have it back. I just want to be reimbursed for shipping and what I paid the pawn shop.

This isn't a give away or a contest!
I'm just trying to help someone get their property back.
Don't ask questions. It has a serial number. It's 's either yours, or it's not.
I will only respond to someone with clear proof of ownership. If I don't reply, then it's not your knife.
.

Yes...it is mine. I forgot the serial number, but it has a butterfly on it.

:D

Class move. Hope you find the owner.

no one here would sell a benchmade to a pawn shop. there is an exchange here that works better imho.

you need a picture too, otherwise ... well no ones going to care.

I lost a mini Stryker manual black blade partially serrated in a bar melee in 99. It fell out of my pocket. PM me if you need my address sir

Probably mine. I been almost giving them away. I was thinking about burning about 55 bumper stickers in a youtube video lol.

OP said that he figured it was a stolen knife sold to the pawn shop, and was trying to find the original owner.
Posting a pic would completely defeat the purpose of what he's trying to (pretty nobly) do.

Did you bother to even try to read the post?

Have to agree with Mo......no one here is pawning a BM.
Nice gesture tho!
Joe

No, the thief of said knife would be the one who pawned it.

If a person pawned the knife, they would have a pretty good idea where it is and this thread wouldn't make much sense.

1- person has a nice Benchmade stolen
2- thief sells nice stolen Benchmade to pawn shop
3- OP sees it and thinks "Man, this was probably sold to this pawn shop by a thief. I wonder if I could maybe reunite it with the person it was stolen from?"
4- OP asks if anyone had a knife stolen, and if they can prove it
5- people don't read good

LOL Thanks for clarifying.
Maybe I should've written it that way to begin with.

So let me get this straight... OP stole a Benchmade and sold it to a pawn shop and is now looking for his victim!?!?!?

Just kidding!

Is it one of these?
