Is Vantage Blade Centering as bad as I've heard...

The sands go through the hourglass
The sunset shines on gleaming brass
All good things must end, they say
Old knives don't die, they fade away.

(That's ok......it just means more real knives for me.....and more plastic for those who love plastic.)

:)

I have a BUNCH of Vantages, both sizes and nearly all models except for the partially serrated ones. Some came with blades perfectly centered and a few not so centered. Without fail, the perfectly centered ones were much more difficult to flick open. The last two that I bought were at the two extremes. The Force Avid's blade was close to if not rubbing the liner and opened VERY easily, almost too easily. The Force Pro was perfectly centered but was too stiff to flick open with what I consider a normal "flick". A couple of minutes with a torx driver centered both blades (acceptably centered) and a good opening action. You just have to find a happy medium with them I believe.
