Dear god, the blasphemy ;)

Please please please please please use it :D

Edit: I can't speak from personal experience as I've never broken a busse or kin, but I would think that even if you did manage to break the scales, they would hook you up with a pair of nice new scales :)

Tis Bussekin so no worries concerning warranty. The blade wont break and the handles will hold up just fine- if they dont just fire off an e-mail to Busse and they will sort you out. :)

The only thing I wouldn't do with wood is leave it under water, like in the sink overnight.I wouldn't do that with a knife anyway so it's no concern for me.You also wouldn't want to leave it on the dash of your car for "several years" exposed to sun and the heat of a closed car in summer, other than that I like wood better.Enjoy your beautiful wood handle.

Thanks everyone. I will take care of it. my concern is that it might crack with batoning and chopping.
