For sale is a custom Persian style fixed blade knife. John Gonzalez of Dervish Knives calls it his Ishtar Model. It was made in collaboration with Ted Frizzill of the Mineral Mountain Hachet Works Knife Shop around 2004 or 2005. I purchased it directly from the maker and has been in my collection ever since. It was never used or carried.
The 8” blade of 5160 steel is acid etched, and the handles are Desert Ironwood. The total length of the knife is 13.5”. It’s a wicked looking knife, and very well made. It comes with an excellent leather sheath.
