Isopropyl Alcohol Questions

I'd try one of those white sponge looking "magic erasers". Works wonders on G10 and micarta, better than alcohol in my experience.

I’d be careful with magic erasers as they’re basically ultra fine sandpaper

Get a 2oz (or bigger) spray bottle, mix 9 parts 91% isopropyl to 1 part fractionated coconut oil (the kind that stays liquid).
Coconut oil completely mixes with alcohol, unlike mineral oil.

Has 1001 uses from cleaning to healing rashes. Try it.

So I've been using the 99.9% without issue. I experimented by cleaning up a couple of budget knives from Petrified Fish. I didn't notice any significant difference. It seemed to evaporate more quickly than 91% but by how much I can't say.

I also used it for my first time cleaning Micarta with alcohol. Again, no issues. I've had a new TuyaKnife Bruiser in Micarta just sitting in its box, waiting out the humidity of summer. This one was a nice surprise. It's remarkably light and extremely comfortable in hand.
