I just completed my first trade with blilious. His knives arrived looking as good as described, and in a very reasonable time. If you're concerned about the long distance (to Israel), don't sweat the details...he'll make it painless for you! :D Thanks, Gadi. geegee

I'm also expecting a package from Gadi. Can you tell me how long it took your package to reach you from the time that he sent it to you from Israel? He sent an Ontario/Bagwell Hell's Belle to me on Sunday, the 15th, and I'm REALLY anxious to receive it.

BTW...This is my 3rd trade with Gadi (Blilious), and he IS an excellent guy to deal with.:).

If this is your third trade with him, then what the hell are you asking someone else about the time frames for???:D
 
glockman99: He sent them out on December 15th, and they were in my blade hungry paws today. Not too shabby, considering the amount of mail clogging up the works this time of year.

It's funny...never did an international trade until 90 days ago, and now my last three have been to England, Belgium, and Israel. Knife addiction is a powerful force, knowing no boundaries!:p geegee

...Because the first trade with Gadi was a few months ago, (and at 48 years old, my memory just isn't as good as it used to be.:D). For the second trade, we did it through a third-party who lives in the US, so that package didn't come from Israel.

December 15th? That's the same day that he sent my package, so maybe I'll get it tomorrow (Dec. 24)...(That would be an excellent "Christmas present".).
 
Oh, so you're the person that second wrapped box from Israel was meant for...I wondered what the mailman was confused about, so I just told him to leave it with me and I'd figure it out! :p :D geegee

Well...The {NIB} Ontario/Bagwell Hell's Belle that Gadi sent to me (on the 15th) arrived this morning (12/24/02), and she's a beauty. Gadi packaged-her-up very well, and it made the trip from Israel with grace.

THANKS, Gadi...I really appreciate the trade!
 
Dann - the box I used was for a bottle of wine...a "Super Magnum" wine bottle...this is 3 liters of very good Italian wine....;)

Well, you COULD have left the (full) bottle of wine in the box, and used a bigger box for the Hell's Belle AND the wine.:D.:D.

BTW...This excellent Hell's Belle "knife" is more like a short sword than a "knife" :eek:, and while holding this monster, I have visions of the back-streets and alleys of New Orleans in the late 1800's, and of a place called "Sandbar"...:).
