I have a Randall Model 14 in O-1. The Du-Star is a definite close copy of the #14. I figured I give one a try...

I just found out about the Blackjack Knives Halo Attack! Same Model 14 design, lower price than the ARAD, and made in the USA.

The sheath of the Arad 1 is a very simple and lightweight thing.
Not up to the standards of other makers of nylon gear.
The finger grooves do limit this knife to some users and grips.
I sold mine rather quickly.

I don't like finger grooves on Arad but Lahav and Magen both looks really nice,..

I just ordered a dustar dimona knife from knife center....i received it today and think it seems pretty nice. the packaging was in a box and the blade fits into the sheath nicely too.

lots of velcro on the sheath for all sorts of attachments.
came with paracord attached to the handle and to the sheath too.


i own a few knives and am not sure if i would reach for this one first if i was looking for a survival knife but glad i can at least reach for it.
