Issue Resolved
Bought a knife, received it promptly, but with a non mentioned scratch on the presentation side.
The pictures he sent weren't showing it as well.
Very sad about that.

Yes of course. I decided to put it on eBay, and after he agreed for a partial refund, he changed his mind, and said "I continue to believe I delivered the knife in the condition I said I would, I don’t think a refund is appropriate, but I wish you well with the sale".

Next ?-did you pay with PP goods & services-if so you can make a claim. If not-you should in the future.
People can miss things, but the seller should stand behind his sale. It is up to you if you want to try to pursue a resolution or just sell it.
You should also let him know of this thread so he can tell his side.

Were there pics of the scratch on the sales thread??
Link to sales thread???

Unfortunately it wasn't a sale thread, so i cannot leave a feedback.
He sent a link on the forum where he was just showing the knife. Those pics didn't show the scratch, the knife looked perfect. Paid Paypal friends and family. I am new to this forum, and didn't know. Lesson learned.

I couldn't find the member that you're referencing here. Can you please post a link to his user profile? Also- did you send him a message informing him of this thread?

You presently have a sale posted on Ebay; can you post a picture here, with this scratch?

"Unfortunately it wasn't a sale thread ..."

This is why BFC forum rules only allow sales threads in the Exchange. Following the Exchange and the GBU forum educate our members in safe buying, selling, and trading practices. There is a wealth of knowledge here and it's really a shame so many ignore so much valuable information.

Would you mind posting the pics that he sent you and also a pic of the scratch that you say he didn't disclose? Are we talking about a major scratch here, or one of those that can only be seen on a Tuesday at 10:12 am while holding the knife facing due North? Is it possible that he simply never saw it and that it didn't show up in photos because it would be nearly impossible to capture? I have dealt with SG before and found him to be perfectly honest in his description and I fully believe that if there had been a major issue, he would have resolved it promptly.

As requested a couple of times already, please post pics of the "scratch". Also, please post the pics that were sent to you by SG.

Perhaps you should post those pics of the scratch in your sale thread where you're selling that knife. You wouldn't want your buyer to be surprised when they get it.

doctorfab,
You've made a complete fool of yourself today. You got your way through extortion and tarnished an honest members reputation while in the process.
You also clearly lied in your sales thread today on the Large 21. I have screen shots before you edited to say the washers were in fact polished after you clearly stated they were not!
You should be ashamed of yourself...

Doctorfab, based on your pics you posted in this thread, it looks like you may be a professional photographer. So why wouldnt you post an accurate pic of the scratch in your sale thread?
