Issue with 119 Brahma (Resolved)

Awesome,
Sometimes you just have to grab the bull by the horns.

The option to tighten or losen the pommel nut was something I saw as a plus with this knife. Not an option on many leather handled knives. This would even make replacing the leather washers altogether an easier project.

Man, I have got to stop coming here. It messes with my head. The Brahma, the 117 Mini, which may actually find it's way here first. The Selkirk.,so many options.

I really thing the 117 will be a great little knife.

I, too, am stoked for the 117. Not sure if I'll get the big bro, as I have 2 119s, but that 117... Wowsers! The SHOT video of it made it look quite tantalizing

Slid an allen wrench through the hole in the pommel and took about two turns with it. Everything is nice and tight. The pommel had some resistance to it but not a great deal. Enough though that I don't see it backing off on it's own. Given that the knife was made about 9 months ago I'm inclined to chalk this up to some shrinkage of the leather over that time as well as perhaps not being tightened quite enough at the factory. Regardless the issue has been resolved and I'm happy as a clam with my new Brahma. I plan to give the leather a treatment in the near future with beeswax or some other appropriate product.
You're WELCOME!
