Issue with X-Ray Gun (aka Joey Krebs)

I Completed a transaction with Joey Krebs from thread (http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...Buck-rat1-s-micra-s-Swiss-champ-leatherman-zt) listing a Victorinox Swiss Champ, Two Micras and a Leatherman Folder. I asked in the thread to be sure that the Victorinox was indeed a Swiss Champ model and Joey confirmed it was. Shipping was fast and all items arrived in good condition although slightly dirty. The Victorinox that arrived however was the Champion Plus not the Swiss Champ. This was labeled on at least two places on the box. I responded to Joey's last email notifying him of the issue and sent him descriptions of the two knives so he was aware of the difference between them. After no reply I posted on his Visitor Messages, after no reply I posted in the thread asking for contact as the item listed was not what was shipped. I still received no response. I then posted negative feedback on the deal. Joey then responded to my messages stating that he was sorry but had been away from his email and just wanted to make things right. He suggested sending all the items back and he would refund my money including my cost for shipping the items back. I said I was happy with the Micra's and the Leatherman Folder and wanted to keep those but I would go ahead with shipping the Champion Plus back if he would send my money back plus shipping. We agreed that he would return my money via USPSMO and I would ship the knife back. We both agreed to do this on Friday the 12th of April 2013. I shipped his knife back on the 12th as agreed but have yet to receive any return of my payment. I have emailed, posted to visitor messages, and again posted in the thread asking for contact on this transaction. Joey has not responded to any contact what so ever. Joey's feedback was good so I did not have any concerns about this transaction; however I suppose there is always a first time for someone to ignore a bad transaction and just hope it goes away. I waited to post this thread until I felt Joey Krebs (X-Ray Gun) was allowed sufficient time to respond. As of 5-3-2013 it will be 3 weeks since the knife was shipped back and payment was supposed to be returned.
 
I sent him a private message to let them know about the thread. Also you should come here first to try to work it out rather than leaving the negative feedback.
 
Mea Culpa - I was under the impression based on the threads here that the Feedback forum was postmortem for transactions. I re-read the exchange rules before leaving the negative feedback and saw nothing indicating the accepted procedure for this process. I have never had a bad transaction here so I was unsure of the proper course of action and was not aware that it was done differently. I'll do this in the future thanks for your help rycen!
 
I believe I followed the last three paragraphs to a tee but I will continue to do this in the future. Was there something in particular you were pointing out? Thank you mods for helping on this issue!

Nothing other than for other reading this thread to take a lesson on "what to do if...". We do live in an age where instant satisfaction by one way or another and entitlement are expected and ride hand in hand, and life is not always that way. Not stating that about you specifically, just as an over all observation.

Gotacha... I'm trying to do things correctly but like I said, I haven't had a trade go bad before. I really do appreciate the help.
 
X-Ray Gun sent the following email today. I'll follow up in about a week if there is a resolution.

"Omg Adam I'm so sorry buddy my wife was supposed o mail out a very long time ago. I have been crazy buzy and have not been in the net I'm so sorry buddy for this ill have your money out first thing Monday no b. s. ill over night and send confirmation sorry and I hope u can forgive me for this oversight.

It has been a week since Joey Krebs said he would overnight my money and I have received nothing. communication has ceased again as well. At this point I don't know what else I can do.
 
I sent him a more direct message now. He still hasn't been online since the seventh of last month. It's possible that something happened.
 
Received the following from Joey Krebs on 05/18/2013 while I was on vacation. "Adam I'm sorry iv had some unexpected financial trouble I'm very in erased over this and hope you can forgive me sit its on its way." The email included a picture of a money order (although it was not a USPS money order as we had agreed it would be since that Is what was requested for the initial purchase). Today 05/23/2013 I received the Money Orders, LLC money order. Provided I have no issues cashing this money order I believe this issue is closed. I would add, Had Joey Krebs promptly and honestly communicated he was having financial issue in the beginning I would have had no issues waiting.
 
My bank accepted the money order so everything has been resolved at this point. Thanks everyone for the help!
