It’s a sad day

That’s a rough one to loose!

Maybe it will turn up, it’s a stainless blade and CF is really durable so it really won’t suffer much from extended exposure to a farm field.

Dang it man, still have my knife, there above my left front pocket as the wife brands this whiteface calf.

Anyhow, number one reason I hear back from my customers (most are working cowboys/ranchers etc), for loosing one of my knives is using it and then sticking it on the tailgate or bumper and driving off. Bettin something similar with you?

Only the boss can keep his fingers in the pocket, the rest of us can get away a with a thumb at most—and a knife of course.

It's got to be somewhere. It didn't vanish...

I lost my Sere once for 6 months or so. Could've sworn I lost it in Galveston. We went back looking several times, even asked the friend we were with, thought I had checked everywhere and it was gone for good.

I dropped something in the car and went under the seat to find it. Came up with my long lost friend. :D

It just might turn up where you least expect it.

I hope you guys are right and it turns up, but I’ve about Lost hope. I tore the inside of the truck apart lookin for it. Don’t think I set it on the bed of the truck, just from the way the truck is designed. Anyway, I’ve fed thousands of bales of hay and never once did anything with that knife except put it in my pocket. I fear I went to slide it in my pocket and missed and it fell to the ground. We just had 4” of rain, so if it is laying by that hay ring, it’s already well stomped into the mud. I will look every time I go back to that pasture, though, just in case.

That's the worst. You're not just losing a great tool but something that's shared so much work or just been a part of a long story. Almost like splitting up with a girl or wrecking a great car. I hope you find it.

I recently lost my favorite and most carried blade (BM MINI RITTER GRIP IN M4 with Wilkins Grips) I have no idea where ai lost it. I feel your pain brother.

Go stand back where you were standing and just stand there....no for longer, and look at ehere all you were and where you walked to. Don't move yet. Try to think back. Now walk it a few times. If that doesn't work try walking where you backed up to and drove to next, at least as far as you can. Just try it what do you have to lose besides a few minutes. Do it
Leave the stepchild in the truck. It can't be watching you look incase their's a reunion or it might decide to take a hike itself.

If this doesn't work we can try hypnosis.:)

I lost one at my Grandma's at an early age at a time if you lost something like that , too bad ! I looked through the area but nothing .
The next summer I was wondering through the woods when the sun glinted on something . I looked - MY KNIFE ! Joy !
