[Blasted Hill Knives]

Hello again everyone! I haven’t posted here in years. I sold some knives as a beginning knifemaker on this forum, and then I left it and have been working on improving my skills. I hope I’ve learned a thing or two, and I hope you will like what I present here. Either way, it’s great to be back!

This is a new model that I designed. I call it the ”Spike.” It is from 3/16” O-1 tool steel heat treated in my Evenheat kiln and hardened in Parks oil. The knife is 9 1/4” in overall length with a 4 1/2” cutting edge. Compound grind: hollow / hollow on one side and hollow / flat on the other, with a decorative swedge on the spine. Scales are Green Micarta with Red and Green G-10 liners. Pins are Black Micarta. Comes with custom leather sheath. FYI- The sheath DOES NOT have a belt loop.

Question- have you considered a Kydex sheath for that design? To me it just screams out to be carried horizontal at 10 o’clock or at least canted if in leather. I really like the design.
