I eased the edges of my CalyIII.'s handles. I love the sculped look of the G10 on my Spyderco's, but the sharp edges sometimes hurt my hands. So I used sandpaper (variious grits) to round the sharp corners, then buffed to a soft satin shine on loose cotten wheel. Now this knife has a "pocket worn" feel to it. It didn't need it but it just feels so much better now. With the textured G10 it still does not slip.
Of course I washed and dryed it well after.
