Thanks a bunch River-8, Snakedoc, and Dunner for letting me tag along yesterday :thumbup: ! Hiking in and having to get that fire going was great. I'd have to say I must bring more equipment next time so that we don't have to rough it as much ;). I mean, for goodness' sake, we almost didn't make it :eek: .
 
Safetyman, it was great meeting you. Hopefully you will be able to make it out to goof off as your busy schedule allows. It's always fun living on the edge like that ;)

And Ian raises a good point. It's been a long time since I brought along a couple dozen donuts for our "survival exercises". I will hook that up one of these days. :thumbup:
 
REI carries them CMDR. I have a pair and they are the best Ive worn. The plus is the heavy boot strap in replaceable.

I need to put my self on some sort of email list for this. Not exactly like it is a short drive from Spokane. And I guess my dead thumb with the stitches would have not lent it's self to chopping, or throwing my hawk.

Coffee's acceptable,,,,,wiv a cpl shots of Buca in it. Survival beverages are of the single malt variety,,,,,unless yer shooting. The Brewery is a good campsite too . :D :thumbup:
