That could work. I'm trying to think of something I could do that would be unnoticeable and undestructive, but as far as I know it may not even be a problem, so I'm not thinking about it too hard yet ;)
 
Just got it. I love it, though I agree the handles feel a bit plastic-y. Oh well, I've seen a 200 lb man jump on them, so I trust em!

Not to worry, strength is not the shortcoming of noryl gtx, but yes,they do feel cheap. I see some custom scales in your future...its gonna happen
 
Well I've come to realize loosening the pivot screw a tad helps with easier opening, but introduces side-to-side blade play almost instantly.... Is there any way to prevent that?

Custom scales will happen as long as they aren't as expensive as the knife (I know there are some even more expensive lol)
EDIT: also it's more so that they SOUND cheap than feel cheap... If that makes sense. Rubbing the non-textured part you can tell you're feeling some durable stuff, but when you tap it you get that $1 Eagle Claw lockback sound :barf:
