I'd even be down for it in SR101. If it's gonna be coated, might as well keep me price point down

Just make it big... infi... CG is just fine by me. Glad to se I'm not the only one thinking about Wed already. :D

SR101 is a fine steel. Infi gets the love, but SR101 has never let me down (neither has infi). And stay sharp better too :)

I would like to see the whole basic line come out basic 3 to 13 and ever number inbetween id love to have the whole set. most usable busses ever

Infi for sure and I would love to see sr77. Supplies of 77 must be low or nil.

Yes... plus we did start asking for the B13 in the B13 thread long before "Battle Grade" brought SwampRat-101 to the trough en masse. ;) I and many others have sr-101 1311's, we want/need and are asking for an INFI B13.

All hype and discouragement aside, just straight talk: All INFI is expensive these days, look at this week's $327 sub 4" meanergo. It is very hard to see how adding ~5"/40% to a slightly thinner B8 would double the price to make it cost prohibitive, but I could see it easily reaching the low to mid $400's around a 40% price increase from a B8LE. That's a pretty good target market for those who want a big INFI chopper without all the frills. The recent highly sought after Battle Saw is way more complex with only 1.5-2" less total length yet was not much beyond that price range with micarta so there's some logic fodder to munch on. We're not asking for a folder here... just a long res-c Busse.

It would be greatly helpful for anyone interested in this idea to support the original B13 thread and show Jerry just how much we want this to happen. :)

There is a lot of wisdom in this post. Agree with everything here.

Yes there is much wisdom on this thread, The Basic 13 would sell out very quickly, Heck Busse could even offer one in SR-101 as an option for all the new people who do not even know it has been previously offered in the 1311-The time is right to start the New Year off with a knife a lot of people want!!
