It is Time for the Next offering to be the Basic 13

I would love a nice Infi Basic 11 or 13. Something I can really pound on and work hard with and not worry to much about it being a Safe Queen. I have a problem using some of my blades. I end up loving them so much I just can't bring myself to use em :) I'm in the practice now of scratching anything brand new that I intend to use just to make sure it doesn't end up locked away and neglected. Having that first scratch there helps.

Keep in mind, the B-8 was $317 if you bought two or more, $327 for one in the Cupid Ganzaaa.
If Busse does a B-13, I'd expect it to be around $525 with current INFI prices.
 
Nah a basic 13 will be barely more than a b11. But the le version would ne more. I'd love to see a basic khukuri.
 
Whew that would be hard to explain to the wife. Thats hard to justifie for me saving for m1a. Lets hope its battle saw prices

Haha Jaxx but the question is who is actually asking for an AAS? :confused:
The folder, forever two weeks out, is an entirely different thing from a 13asic fixed blade design. :)
Demand and simplicity are both on the side of the B13, just like it was with the B8. ;)

Not that I'd pass on a Basic 13 if it were offered. :)
I just want my Folder while I'm still young enough to use it. ;):D
And it's been a while since an INFI skelly model has been in the Trough.
:)
 
Old guy or new guy.....I could care less about an INFI folder and small INFI doesn't let INFI shine like it is capable of in my opinion. 13ring the 13asic 13! ....I may be new....but I see this 13lade getting attention from all people. ..not just "old hogs", from knife lovers abroad.
 
I'll post my preferences in both threads.

B13:

(1) INFI
(2) DCBB or satin
(3) Regulator handle
(4) Steel Heart tip profile.

I'll probably buy it even if I cannot have preferences 3 and 4, but I will not buy it unless it is INFI. I likely will not buy it with a coated blade. I have many SY 1311 that work well enough.

I've been on a purchasing hiatus since our triplets were born but hell, I'd come straight back in for at least 3 Basic 13's and a bolo version should they show up!

Just sayin.
