Well a while back, Brian posted some stuff about axes, answered a couple of stupid questions from me and then...
While I'm a the Gun and Knife show with the wife , she sneaks off while I am spending way to much on ammo, and buys me my first "real" axe. A Wetterlings , not sure of the model, 20c maybe. She got it for $35 new with a cool little leather sheath. She knew she couldn't hide it while walking around with me so she let me have it early.
Am I gonna give up my chopper? Nope, maybe later, but this will be on the pack as well. I'm gonna smooth the handle a bit and use a buch of danish oil on it. But I gotta track down Brians post to see all the details on his axe work.
