Sorry I don't have a digital at the moment. Hopefully soon. Here is a scan of the ivory, pretty nice I think. The blade(which you can't see) is ladder SS Damascus. An exceptional piece of ivory to say the least. Thanks CRK's. This is the second batch of the 07's that are going out, so we should be seeing some more around...

Oh, that is incredible! It dosen't get any better than that. Isaw the knife on the Knife Works website. No price listed as the knife was sold-out. I'm sure theyr'e not giving them away though.

Mammoth Ivory Bark and Damascus? That's going to be a heavy user, right? :D

Congrats on scoring the knife! I know they're hard to come by.

Thanks bulgron, yeah hard to come by. About a year in the waiting. The factory came through, and well worth the wait.

Rick,
You mention seeing a similar knife on another website? Knifeworks? I looked but didn't see one there. I know Roger pretty good; I'd be surprised if a limited ivory showed up on his site. Though all the better for us if so!

I was looking on the site a day or two ago, I might be mistaken. I saw it somewhere in a SOLD status, with no price. I take your word about it, I will try to find the site I was checking out.

It was a Mnandi with mammoth scales. It is on Knife Works, in Temporary out of stock status, and no price.

Thanks for the comments guys. Not as eye thrilling, but nice non-the-less...here's the backside.

I picked up a new CRK sheath to go with it. Not too much into having the pocket clip off, but it just works with the sheath. That and I've had an inlay for the pocket clip rest with my initials for some time. Thought I'd put it to use.

Beautiful!

Lots of character in the bark. You got a great collector item this year.

And you know, I like Mammoth Ivory Bark because they came as a pair this year.

:)

That is fantastic, congrats! There is something about the bark ivory that just tickles the buying bone. Carry with pride brother.

I love my mammoth bark ivorys...looking forward to the damascus blade arrival...

Yours is very nice!

I saw one of the Mnandi's on Knifeart.com with the interior mammoth ivory for $450.

I emailed the link to a friend, but I don't think he bought it yet, so may still be there.

That is one awesome knife, blackend. Is there any way to scan the damascus blade?

Ya gotta love that Mammoth, had a girl at work tell me one day when I showed
her my mammoth handled knife, 'aren't they endangered?' hmm not for a LONG time...
and she was going for her masters degree...I think she got it mixed up with elephant
ivory, although I made it pretty clear that it was from a mammoth...oh well,
