italian brands......viper keeper....

I'm not a fan of Viper qc particularly with detents. In any case, Peter did a review on this one. Didn't seem to great at all. Also not so sure it even had real d2 steel or a ht issue on his.

I found the Fox Knives Terzuola folder, it looks interesting, along with the Rhino folder. I am going to get a Lionsteel Big Opera knife first

Gotta second the notion that italian manufacturers get way too little recognition. imo they're among the best out their, (even though italians aren't the best businessmen :D ) in terms of fit and finish and they often times use steels like N690 which is great

I have the small Opera in stag and I like this knife a lot. It is just a matter of deciding what size you are more comfortable using day to day. If I have any criticism of the Small Opera, I think the blade could be thinner to make it more slicey as it generally is not a hard use kind of knife.

mine has n690 steel not d2 version. didnt watch his video.......I have a hard time watching those.

I can only review mine and the fit and finish is quite good for the just above 100 buck price point. I have been using it last couple days and its held an edge as I'd expect n690 proprly heat treated to do. I didnt test hrc though or any real science. maybe I should make my own video and show how my example is petty darn good...:)
