Which Italian firm makes better quality folders?

Lion Steel is great, from what I hear.

Maserin(sp?), Fox, Lion Steel come to mind. Stilettoes- Beltrame and AKC.

If you want just one, instead of a list, look at the Lion Steel SR1, oniy because Lion it is an award winner and current darling. It is a quality blade with an eye catching style.

However... a warning if you are a user, I find it uncomfortable in hand in a tight hammer grip, as the titanium handle "cuts" into the skin. Also, it is priced at levelnof a ZT30x. I would buy a second ZT over the Lion SR1' and I am an Italian in
Italy.

Best folders imho locally of industrial production are Extrema Ratio, and second Fox.

YMMV.

Take a look at viper knives to. They make some really nice gentlemans folders.

I own a Combative Edge M1 folder which is produced by FOX in Italy, it's one of my favorite knives!

There are several companies that produce some very fine cutlery. I forget which company makes the Ontario Retribution series, but they are great knives. My Lion Steel SR-1 is one of the finest knives I have, and this includes a few nice customs I have.

No confusion what so ever. I saw "LionSteel" on the blade and knew what the SR-1 was. I am thanking you for bringing Fantoni up because I went and looked and fell in love/ordered at first sight

And here I thought I had a SR-1 newbie! Fantoni also made the Beretta/Harsey folders, and now makes them under their own name. Those are some very nice knives.:thumbup:
