Hi folks. OK, there is minimal Custom content, but there IS Custom content. Stick with me...
Last winter I had a series of meetings and conversations with Walter Halucha, a longtime collector and knife entrepreneur. His passion for knives is Italian 'switchblade' autos (isn't that redundant?) Walter is a really easy man to know and work with, and he loves good quality. Like all of us, he is passionate about knives made by hand and individual's attention.
He wanted to resurrect a longtime Italian production company called Latama, and give due credit to the men (Man?) responsible for the start of this revolution in the fifties and sixties.
The Latama line was not only Italian switchblades, as we are familiar, but also those sixties gift gents knives that we are all familiar with.
Walter contacted me because he REALLY wanted to make sure his images had impact. He had already contacted Bob Ponkos, a reputed art and website designer to do a very classy website. Once I met with both of these guys I was also immersed in the history and intrigue of classic cutlery.
Custom content: Paul Panak (Burn Knives) was enlisted to make some upper-quality handmade knives to be offered as a replica tribute to the late master of this field: Sam Polk. Here is only one of the ones he developed:
They come in fine presentation boxes, too.
Anyway, I am proud of the work I did with Walter, I am really impressed with the work of Bob Ponkos, and I am sure you will find this site an enjoyable tour. It's NOT a site designed for dial-up, so be forewarned.
The opening sequence is well worth the wait to load.

(Mods, please move this if you see fit. I find this forum home, and wanted to share)
