I would like to introduce my son Edd Carter Harbin III to you all .....Seven pounds seven ounces , nineteen and a half inches long !!!!!!!!
 
Congratulations!

My wife is expecting and should deliver within the next week.

When I think about the actual birth, I get weak in the knees and feel like I'm going to pass out. However, once I'm there, I handle it perfectly.

Hope it goes well this time. Wish me luck!

(sorry to distract from your post - I'm just a wee bit excited :))

Congratulations! What knife did you use to cut the umbilical cord? :)

My baby is 7 months old now...wait until they start crawling around...
 
Congratulations! My little girl is now nine weeks old. If this is your first be prepared, it changes everything. It's GREAT!
 
Congrats on the birth of your child, Edd! (Are you passing-out knives or the more traditional cigars?.:D.).
 
It's funny, one of the guys above asked what knife you used to cut the cord with. I know a guy who had a custom made for just that purpose and plans to give it to his son at his barmitzvah.

A big congrats. Wait until you see that big toothless smile. Reminds me of my mother-in-law.
It's not really official, though, until you get doodie under your fingernails. Believe it or not, I smell something right now.
