Not really a knife subject, but a proud daddy's got a brag right?...lol

Anyways, I would like to annouce the latest addition to our household, Miss Kaetlin Elizabeth. She was taken by emergency c-section Oct 20 and due to complications she was rushed to the Newborn Intesice Care Unit at Tallahassee, Fl. After spending the first week of her life in ICU, she is home and healthy.

Congratulations!

Here in Asia(many moons ago), chinese families usually place a sharpe object nearby or under the new born's bed...ie; Scissors or a small knife but the former is more prefered. Old folks believe "Knife Gods" will protect the infant from evil spirits....very much like Terzuola's "Eze-nab"(not sure of the spelling)......then again, it gives you an excellent excuse to buy another knife......

Congrats Jon!

How's Momma doin? C-sections can be hard to recover from with a newborn to care for.

Pics look good. Looks like she came through the ordeal in good spirit. Bravo!

Let's see Oct 20 makes her on the cusp of Libra and Scorpio. Interesting mix, seems like a nice balance.

Best wishes for health and happiness from our family to yours!

Congratulations Jonathan! It's a good thing Kaetlin was delivered by surgically (knife content) or I would have been compelled to move this thread to the community forum already

I'll give this one the rest of today in the general forum, then it's off to the Community forum.

I am very happy for you. Bringing home a baby is a wonderful, bewieldering, loving, and sleepless experience. Remember, your wife did all the hard work bringing her into this world, now it's your turn.

Off to the Community Forum.

Jedi, does this thread offend you in some way? There will always be some crossover between community issues and knife issues in the general forum. But I did say it belonged in Community, so off it goes...
