I was wondering if their was any other keychain prybars around that are a little less expensive since $35 seems a little expensive for a little tool like this. If their aren't any others i will have to buy one of these but was hoping for one more in my price range.

Ti prybabies are only $35? I think I paid that much for my used S30V one!

I seriously think it's a great deal. Pretty much everytime I go to help my friends out with thier cars, I use it dozens of times.

I thought they were going for 50 or 60 dollars... :)

I'm sorry, that was my mistake...the S30V's are $35...Ti's are more expensive.

The TI ones are $55+ I think. I paid around $60 for mine since I had some extras added (scalloping). Its a great little tool and Im glad I got mine. I put it on my key chain and it opens my beers rather nicely :D
I'm thinking of getting one of Peter's Tiny tantos but we'll see...

Hi Lurp, you're right they are a bit expensive but that's the difference between tools that are made to order one by one in someone's workshop compared to tools that are mass produced. The Pocketwrench is a fine tool also but it is stamped out in a factory somewhere, probably overseas by slave labor and who knows what it is really made of.

The prybaby is sweet. Scrape, pry, screw, dig and most importantly open beer bottles.

I really want a nice Ti one, but might have to wait to sell a few things.

Peter: I had a court officer take my keychain with the prybaby on it. I guess she thought it was a "deadly weapon" Maybe a nice colorful Ti one would have calmed her nerves!

Hi Shann-

The question is...did you get your keychain with prybaby returned at the end of the day?

Oh yeah, it wasn't that big a deal. she just looked at it closely a couple of times and said, "I'd better keep this you can pick it up at the end"

They do that with anything that could inflict damage. I had a small screwdriver taken as well. Returned by end of day too.

Ya im thinking ill just save up some extra funds for it until i have enough to get one. They look like a really useful tool to have.

Lurp,

Dont buy one of those......buy a prything:D
best tool Atwood makes.( just not for the key chain:yawn: )

The bottle opener on my PryBaby doesn't work well at all. The "V" at the end cuts string pretty good though.

U could make one of these for $14 that has descent pry abilities ...

or for $25 buy a ti version of the 3way from Mr. Atwood ... my next purchase. Atwood's stuff rocks by the way!

Also ... I was also thinking just a plain Titanium Clip from Chris Reeve would be a nice cheap $12 Key Fob.

Ronin, sorry the bottle opener doesn't work well for you. I changed the design a little this summer and I think the new ones are definitely an improvement. I'm grinding the end of the lip at an angle and it helps get a better purchase on the bottle cap. Don't know why I didn't think of it long ago.

A Prybaby may not be cheap, but trust me, it's worth it.

I got one just a couple of weeks ago, and I've already managed to use it a dozen times. I have no doubt that it will prove it's worth many times over in the future.

And I'd also like to say that Mr. Atwood is a great guy, and was wonderful to deal with. I highly recommend both him, and his great tools.

What exactly is the 3 way?

The PryBabies are sooooooo worth every penny!!! I have mine with me everyday!!! I love it!!!

I NEED some more of Mr. Atwood's stuff!!!

Yeah I'd love a plain Ti prybaby that I could color myself, but $50 is just too steep for me right now. :( Maybe in a while.
