It's a Peter Atwood Ti PryBaby?

Yeah I'd love a plain Ti prybaby that I could color myself, but $50 is just too steep for me right now.
Wait until you find out what one in Damasteel cost!!

The prybaby's are worth every penny. S30v or Ti. If you plan on using it alot the steel would probably be better then the Ti. I carry mine more, use it every now and then, so I picked up a blue bubbles Ti one at the Blade Show this year. I didn't get to meet Mr. Atwood. :( Maybe next year.

I heard that damascus Prybaby on the website is the only one you're making....man do you need to make some more of those, it was so cool! I think you said its the last one bc you ran out of damascus, sooooo if I send you some more damascus will you make me a Prybaby out of it? :D

I have made a total of 3 in Damasteel and SS damascus so far. I will only work with the stainless type damascus steels because of my heat treat schedule. If you really want one of these email me and we can work out the details. Thanks! :)

The Pocketwrench is a fine tool also but it is stamped out in a factory somewhere, probably overseas by slave labor and who knows what it is really made of.

The Pocketwrench is "Made in USA of 420 Stainless Steel" according to the McFeely's website. There's no need to cast aspersions on a competitive product ($9.95 compared to your prices, usually $35+) simply because someone questioned the high prices you charge for items that can be produced quite quickly.

Yes, I probably spoke too soon, my bad. However speaking of casting aspersions what the hell did I do to you? You're ranking on me on two threads and it really is uncalled for.

Mr. Atwood made that comment on 10/06 /2005. I believe the Blade Forums Statute of Limitations for casting aspersions as long since passed. Perhaps mamba-man needs to be a little more timely in replying to a thread if he wants to accuse a maker of a fine piece of gear of being an aspersion caster.

BTW, I just checked and this person has decided that they do not want PMs or emails sent to them. Interesting.

Well, the resurrection of this thread has reminded me that I want to buy a Prybaby, so some good came of it.

cheers

If threads are off limits for replies, they should be archived for read-only access.

That would get shouted down as well, no doubt. It seems that saying anything critical of a "respected member" is verboten.

Peter,
On a more positive note, I saw you made some in damascus and damasteel, any thought on a timascus prybaby? Now that would be very cool.

My ever-listening wife and son picked one up for me this past Fathers' Day to my surprise. One of the coolest little tools you could ask for. I no longer twist off bottle caps; not the PryBaby close at hand! Seriously, I don't think anyone would be let down owning one of these tools.
