It's a Primble New Year

Thanks and yes, I like how the jigging goes up to the bolsters where some companies tend to sand down to match up to the bolster area.

Folks at work marvel at this vintage folder, they are use to my having many knives at one time and surprised that I've cut back to just a few and one being as old a knife as this one is, go figure ;)

I took the sheepsfoot to my Ken Onion edition Worksharp with the blade grinder attachment and evened up the sides of the sheepsfoot but was super careful of any heat build up, also lightly cleaned the stepped bolsters too, no sanding on those, just spiff'd up a little and looks great.

All the blades cut very cleanly, all in all, a great knife for EDC for me.

I'm thrilled that you are getting so much pleasure from that knife Gary, I know for sure that it has gone to the right home :)

Chip, if ever you decide that you err'd in this gift, you know where she is and I'd be happy to send her back home, reluctantly of course, but willingly since she was yours to begin with ;)

I have sanded and polished the shield up to a mirror polish so that's kind of a neat contrast to the rest of the aged appearance, plus rubbing my thumb on the shield is like a worry stone type of thing...
