Good gawd man, these took forever. I don't know what the reason was, be it the cold, laziness, etc.... It just seems like ever once in a while, I have a group of knives that are the bane of my existence..... These were those.........for sure......

Anyway, I guess they were worth the effort, but my gosh, they took way too long, tried my patience, I was way indecisive with them, my shop caught on fire (2 times, once a tad bit worse that the other...) and the list goes on.

I'm just glad they're out the door.....

Anyway, here you go............

Maybe it's good to be done with those knives. They were possible "ju-ju" since your shop burnt twice while making them.

Nice work.

Mark,
They are mighty good lookin'...but darn...your shop caught on fire 2 times while you were making them....dog-gone....not a good thing!
Dip buckets that can be lifted and poured on a small fire (like Titanium dust burning)....
They are still good lookin' knives!

Yeah, one time, I had some grease/oil that caught fire while I was heat coloring one of the spacers, that made a hell of a mess, but the bad one was when I was milling down the spacers.

I had a T joint in one of my exhaust pipes (PVC), and it had built up Ti shavings. I knew I needed to replace that b/c of the possibility of material build up. Well, I got lazy and didn't remove it and replace it with an elbow.

I got in a hurry and tried to take too much off in a pass, and it threw a spark down the tube. Man, about an 8 foot flame shot out, and all the PVC in the immediate area went up. There was so much black smoke that it looked like I was burning tires.....

The shop is no worse for the wear though..............

Uh oh,... I guess I'd better empty out that "steel wool" that been gathering in the PVC pipes of my really "low tech" cyclone vacuum system for my grinder.

Hey - if you really don't like these you are more than welcome to send them to me. I'll make sure they have a happy home!!! Very nice knives.

Mark G, you're too kind. :) They went to customers though, so maybe their luck will fare better than mine while they were in the shop.....

Cool looking folders. I love the handle shape. I know what you mean about taking forever to get something done, here lately it seems to take forever to get anything done in my shop even though I've got plenty of time. I blame it on the cold.
