I received my RAT 3 from Brigade quartermasters today. It was ordered 1-Oct. I am very glad to have it. After all the calls & emails and nobody knowing when it would ship. I wanted to have it for last deer season now I have it for spring camping:)
 
I just received word that my RAT 3 from Brigade shipped yesterday after ordering it also in Oct.

It's been a long wait, but I hope it's worth it.
 
Wow! Hahah, mines should be arriving soon then...

One thing I like about the Ontario RATs over the RC line is the green micarta handle over the gray handle.
 
I think It's a good knife and most of the time I kind of forgot it was on back order so although the wait did suck it could have been worse especially if I didn't like the knife when it got here. I also got the green handle & sheath. Just for a little something different.
 
I just received an invoice from Ontario for a RAT-3! Does that mean it's almost here? It also says "w/ green sheath", I hope its the foliage green.
 
The only possible green is foliage, so I think you're safe. Where did you order from? Last I checked Brigade was still out of stock of RAT3s with the foliage sheath.

Nice! I thought I saw some forest green sheaths a while ago..I don't know, maybe it was just the pictures. Mines is actually a warranty replacement.
