I was ordering some machine parts and read this description of an item. It is nothing but normal cast iron, but their 24 word way of describing it makes it sound so much better.
  • Material: Made of iron carbon alloy with a carbon content exceeding 2.1%, it has good wear resistance and shock absorption, moderate hardness, and high toughness.
 
Reminds me of companies that make guitar pickups. Or when electric guitar makers start talking about different tone wood. They come up with all sorts of words to make it sound special.
 
A decade or two ago, Panasonic used audiophyle lingo to describe their transformers. It was a blast :D
