It's been 2 weeks now since my NMFBM went into my leg.

That is why I use the forward lanyard through the front tube hole. Then It won't eat my leg, and if you loose your grip, it will just hang there balanced. If you have a rear lanyard and let go, it will swing down with quite a bit of force.

Man, your LUCKY. I don't think there are any major arteries right there but your REAL close to some serious tendons and ligaments. REAL, close.
 
Oh man Jim, I'm glad you're alright. With the edge you put on your blades I'm surprised you still have your leg! ;)

The glove issue is something that I've thought little about with using a Busse chopper. I might do a thread on it. :thumbup:
 
Hey Ankerson, I was ribbing you about your deal the other day and karma got me back. I whacked myself good with my new Mojo Snake, aka "SnakeBite" just last night. But in my defense it never left my hand so a lanyard wouldn't have helped me near as much as some INFI chainmail would have. Pics are in the two snakes, one bite thread I posted about it.

THat's what I was doing Jerry and it flew out of my hand, the gloves were too slippery I guess. It bounced off the tree into my leg. :eek:

I have plenty of Paracord so I will be using a lanyard from now on.

I was limbing a tree and it slipped out of my hand. :grumpy:
 
Hey man, I did something similar two nights ago. I dropped my AK on my leg. But I wasn't climbing though. 5 stiches. Now, I'm off work staring at my computer for ganzaa trying to get another AK. My girl is gonna kill me.
 
Hopefully you werent wearing those sweet Pajama's when it happened...I would be devistated if they got ruined. ;) Glad it wasn't any worse Ank. Heal up and get back to the video makin for us. :)
