in the last couple of weeks, i've been given my first esee knife (izula) and i love it. i am chomping at the bit to file my tax return to get another esee blade (among other things).
i also broke the clip on my sog flash ii about a month ago and just got some replacement clips in the mail. i've not carried the knife in the last month because of the broken clip and it's like getting back an old, reliable friend.
lastly, i got a swisschamp probably about fifteen years ago and i never carry it because it's so bulky. i've always wanted to carry and have tried a couple of times, but it is usually left at home. when i bought it, it was the big survival kit that you can still buy it with and that's just always been too much for me to carry on my belt. i always saw the knife in the store with the nice cordura sheath and wished i had that sheath instead so i could carry it again. well, it was fresh on my mind when someone asked what they could get me for Christmas, so i requested that sheath. i'm so excited to finally carry that knife and have the swiss army toolbox on my hip.
while only one of these knives are new, it's like getting three new knives this past month and it makes me pretty happy. i'm gonna be carrying all of them for a while, whether i need to or not.
now, i just need to order my five and junglas. thank you esee and fellow forumites for helping me find the izula and other esee blades. i hope everyone is having as good of a blade month as i am.
