Hey everyone, just got my latest project finished up and I thought I'd share it with you all :)
High carbon steel with a pretty steep 17 degree (there abouts) edge. The black parts not only add some flair but balance the blade quite nicely. As always done up from scratch and 100% by me. enjoy :D

I can appreciate the skills and attention to detail needed to put something like that together (having made a few knives myself). However the fantasy looks put me off. Totally. Do you plan on this blade being a user or it is just for display? Does't look like the most usable blade/handle shape!

Its a user, if you had it in your hand you could see.. the black are edged at an angle so it doesn't create much if any additional friction, its balanced right above the thumb hole and it holds in your hand almost (not quite) like a revolver which is actually quite comfortable. The shape of the blade is actually quite good for gutting or skinning it opens things up like a zipper (not tried on anything alive) as well as using for cutting branches/ sharpening sticks.
