sorry, kumdo, :o mega apologies : 10 demerits and i'll clean the bilges for a week....

it was not my intention to pinch your design, i just wanted something inspired by that one, i'd designed one more like mine back in the '70's but lost the sketches, i googled a yataghan image & found yours to show the smith - yours is a lot more pointy & graceful. your knife design was definitley the basis for mine, but i did not want it to be an exact copy as yours are so uniquely beautiful (& justifiably expensive - i knew i could never own one), i asked the smith to put himself into it & make it similar but redo it to fit his ideas.

i did not want dan to copy your exact design, so i did let him know. as you saw, it evolved into a different beast (which i wouldn't mind him copying) - i'll be more careful if there is a next time.... your original design would be nice as a smaller fighter instead of a sword - but i'll not try that myself......
 
No worries, brother. Since your final design didn't end up anything like mine I have no problems. Taking inspiration from design is something everyone does...

Mr. Gonzales you are truly a master. That Kermabit is the thing knife collectors dream of. I hadn't known of you before, but it sure is fun to look your site over and over and over... Thanks for posting.
