SO i got my first kershaw ever, a storm 2, adn i have been playing with it for about a week and a half. so i go to work for my dad, doing a project for him and my damn knife slips. just my luck my hand gets in the way of the blade. i got 8 sexy stitches to show off now :D arent i a lucky one?



 
nice one! is that a little bit of you I see on the blade? That must have bled like a mother
 
yes tha is me on the blade cool huh=] and ya cuts heal, but they still suck. oh well. i still love the knife though. as for teh bleeding, i was told i was ghostly white adn i left a trail of blood all ove the house. when you start seeing black spots you know something is wrong.
 
What do they say about scars? Chicks dig 'em.....

Not to be mean but, join the crowd. We all got em. You're in good company.
 
haha ya join the club. well i am now an official member. just thoguht you guys would get a kick out of it. and it is doing good. stitches come out soon :cool:
 
Hey we all get bit every now and then.
Better to get it from a sharp knife then a dull one.

Oh...you wouldn't happen to be related to Glockman would ya?? ;) :D
 
true, sharp knives are better. adn as for being related? i have no clue. i know there arent many bauhs' around, but it is a possibility. i truthfully dont know, and neither does my dad, who we are related to. it is a big mistery to my family. we have no family tree other than imidiate family. but who knows. maybe glockman is a long lost cousin or sumthin haha
 
Yep,.....one of the hazards for the love of knives. I'm just about healed from a really deep right pinky cut from my Spec Bump,.....it was a whole month ago! NEVER close a folder one handed when your pug is distracting you to your left! :mad:

Slight numbness to the tip,.....but looks just about normal now. I probably should have gotten maybe 3 stitches but opted for butterfly bandages and other wraps.

I shouldn't even mention this after all that,......but while i was typing the notice in another thread that i had recieved both my Kershaw Trooper from kershawguy and the Cuda MAXX from Esav Benyamin tonight,.......

........i had the Cuda MAXX open and was about to submit the post and WHAM!!!!,.....the Cuda bite my right index finger tip! :o

If i were a diabetic needing to test my sugar,.....THIS would be a great aid. Of course,.......i could probably run about 100 "tests" with just this one finger prick,.....a bit overkill for sure.

........just got her all bandaged up and finger cotted,.........until it stops "oozing"!!! :eek:

See,.....the trials of a knife-a-hallic never end...............

...........expect the unexpected,........and you get "bit" just a little less! ;)
 
haha nice story there joe. im glad ur finger is doing good. my hand is great. stitches came out ealy. and it looks as good as new. i think maybe a week left and it will healed completly. and it just bit my thumb last night when i was cleaning the blade haha. man i need to stop playing with my knives and being on BF:p
 
your hand will heal...but theres blood on your knife!!:eek:

That looks like it hurt...I used to own a storm, it was probably the sharpest knife I had ever owned.
 
haha ya it is healing good. and it is definatly the sharpest blade i have ever own. that recurve is DANGEROUS!!! haha it is good stuff though;)
 
on the bright side it looks like the doctor did a really nice job sewing you up, stiches look really small and uniform. I know I have had some that looked like they were done by a 9 year old!!
 
ya the military docs did a good job on me. only bad part was they made me wait for like 2 hrs while bleeding before they got to me. i should have left all the blood there. then i would ahve gotten in quick. my whole arm was covered at one point haha:o
 
that sucks, i know how you feel. i had 7 staples in my head a few months ago, long story. my friend was using a sharp paring knife in the kitched, it fell, he went to catch it, knife lands tip up in an open drawer and filets his hand. lots and lots of stitches as well.
