Does anyone else notice this? Often times, and especially on the exchange, I see people spelling his name incorrectly. I don't know why it bothers me so much, maybe because I've spent my entire life with everyone misspelling MY name (Lonny, not Lonnie..) wrong. Does it irritate you? Or am I just being overly harsh? haha Have a great day!!

It's kind of steams my clams a little... This coming from a guy whose neighbor of 6 yrs calls my wife Kristine. It's KRISTINA! She hates it!

You aren't being overly harsh IMO. My name is Kory. Everyone screws up the spelling and it's annoying.

It's easy done I suppose and it is something one sees fairly often.

I have a rather unusual family name that most people can't even say nevermind spell so it's something I have much experience with. :p

I find it most annoying in YouTube videos personally.

Doesn't help credibility when someone reviewing a knife just decides to add a syllable at the end of the makers last name!

All I know is when I watch a YouTube video about CRK and the presenter says reeves I immediately turn it off. If the presenter can't get the name right then I don't trust their opinion.

I know what you mean, my name is Bill and believe it or not my mother calls me William (when she is mad) I don't get it. :-)

It never really bothered me. I do see it misspelled though all the time though......lol. It may bother Mr. Reeve himself though :-)

Well, if people were making me rich and able to live a life of luxary, which he is.... I wouldn't give a dam what you all called me ;)

My name is Bill and there is no reference to William anywhere on my birth certificate, but that doesn't stop people from trying to call me William..So..yeah...I have given up and just answer to either one now.
At least my name hasn't been shortened by texting yet..i.e; "U" to replace "you" or "R" to replace "are".

Or when people describe ---->A<---- as in just and only one driver's license as them. Like "I went to the bar and someone stole my wallet. My driver's license was in there and I have to replace them."

Reminds me of the movie "The Sting", when R.Redford called R.Shaw "Mr. Lonneman" instead of "Mr. Lonnegan".
But this was on purpose.
In this case I'm willing to chalk it up as a spelling mistake.

No doesn't bother me, though it might Chris. It's an easy mistake and can snowball-someone sees it written as Reeves and just follows the pattern.

Who cares? The guy and his crew make great knives and they don't seem to have any trouble selling 'em. Rock on!

This would be Chris Reeve's business.

Yup. (and I see what you did there... :D )
