WHOO-HOO!!!

Just got word from Bobby this morning that he's ready to ship my Gold Medal (as I'm calling it--I dunno, does it have a name, Bobby?)!!

Once it's been through my hands a few times, I'll post what pics I can get and share my good fortune...

Just got word from the wife that it showed up today!

Unfortunately...I'm stuck here at work!!

But, man, when I get home--snow or not--I know what I'm doing!!

And I gotta say...WOW.

That is a HUNK. O' Knife.

I have an old thrower that I jokingly call my "throwing machete." My friends always needled me that, if I couldn't get the point first, I could still knock out my target, it was so heavy!

This thing puts it TO SHAME!!!! It's taking me a little time to get the rotation on it (kind of weird style I use, I think...self-taught, even my mistakes!), but I can't blame the knife. Even though it looks like it's built to survive a nuclear winter, I'm being kind of timid, since I don't get new stuff that often, especially NICE new stuff. I'm half tempted to take a nail and put the first scratch on it by hand, so I can get on with doing this knife justice!!!

I've been pretty busy the last couple of days, but I'll try to get pics up this weekend!
