Thanks! I was really bummed that it didn't turn out the EXACT color I wanted. So I laid the knife down and didn't look at it until this morning. But now I love it because it is MY Echelon now. It was, as Bob Ross used to say, a happy accident.

Classy color. Like velvet rope red! I bought some RIT to dye my ZT-9 closer to Magpul OD instead of foliage and now I'm inspired to attempt this with my Echelon at the same time (assuming the project ever gets passed the "have materials taking up space" stage) but I'll have to prepare for Kermit green Not so classy... Love yours though!

The more dye, the darker the color. I didn't think about it at the time but I ended up putting almost 3/4 of the packet in the pot. Woops.
