and as of right now we have five registered bladesmiths that were contestants in Forged in Fire that will be at Ashokan this year;

Mace Vitale...............Season 1 Episode 8 Winner Moro Kris

Ilya Alekseyev...........Season 2 Episode 4 Winner Spiked Shield

Tom Ward................Season 2 Episode 5 3rd place Viking Sword

Rob Deker ...............Season 2 Episode 10 2nd Place The Tabar

Congrats to these guys, that can't be an easy thing to do in a timed event like that !

I have bins and boxes sitting all around the house. As I pick up something I want to take, I drop it in a box. This should be a great year.

I am bringing up some fun demo things for Saturday night.
