lucky lucky you!!

I have no info other than when i was at the show, one of the head reps at the BM table told me that they are working on a kris, but it will be a bit till we see it. they're still trying to get consistant with the grinding, and obviously that isnt easy with that blade. He deffinately made it sound like it's going to happen though.

Natedogg - That is a pretty well-equipped car, but I would take anything European over ANY Japanese car ANY day of the week. Wish we could set up a race sometime!!! Hopefully, I'll be getting my baby tomorrow, and I'll try to post pics!

Doc, I would be happy to trade you 2 of the kris blade balis for your BMW

A friend of mine just bought a 2001 M3, it's SWEET!!

Philip - As long as they're BM, Sure!!! Just throw in $34,000 cash, and I'll eat the $2700.00 tax I'm paying!

Those M3's are sinfully beautiful! What color? Convertible or hardtop?

Strati, have you taken a look at what you can do with a '93 Toyota MR2? Buy the car for $10k-15k, and invest the difference in modifications.... I doubt a Bimmer could touch it. Of course, the MR2 is a special case - most times, a Bimmer will out-class a Japanese car.

e_utopia - From a performance standpoint, of course there are hundreds of cars that would obliterate my 328 (and an MR2). However, the 328 is not a racing machine and was not intended to be. It is a luxury sports sedan.

Of course if you wanted to, you could soup up a shopping cart so that it would beat a Bimmer off the line. But for craftsmanship, build quality, style, safety, and a good amount of performance, I believe that European cars, especially BMW's, are at the head of the class.

I was not speaking strictly on performance. The MR2's really are exceptional, but they are just that - the exception to the rule.

Personally, I still prefer Jaguars to BMW's for style, but the BMW's have better engines (what make of engine do you think is in McClarens?

) What I really want from BMW is a mid-engine roadster - the Z3 puts the driver too far back in the footprint, and mid-engine cars are just more fun to toss around

Japanese cars are the best, hands down! I love my 1990 crx! It's fast, I have a Borla exhaust, dc headers and intakes, a full wings west body kit and a kick ass audio system with 2 12 inch subs in the back! Plus 17 inch csa ultras with yokohama peradas and I just finished installing my b16 yesterday!

My X-girlfriend Katie (the brainless hottie-model) had a 97 (I think) NSX. fun midengine car but lacked the unrefined brute strength I sometimes crave. God I love big blocks. Incidentally, to keep this on subject, Katie was the one who supported my knife habit for a LONG time. Yes..I had a sugar momma. and yes...I left her because she wasn't my type. And it really wasnt that hard...Ladies and Gents, money cannot buy happiness. But it can buy expensive sharp and shiny toys.

Best Regards
Nate

Oh Man...just give me a Dodge Ram with extended cab, loaded and a Ford Saline (however the hell you spell it) Mustang.

I'd be a Happy Camper.
