It's kind of like a smatchet...

Gorgeous knife, Phillip. How do you seal up the liner/spacer materials in the cool layered guard/pommel? I love the style but I've had some trouble with tiny epoxy lines showing... Yours look very clean, as if it's one piece.

Well, you've got to make sure all the pieces are perfectly flat, and that the ends of the handle piece are square and flat, and that the guard is square with the blade in all axis. Then it's a simple matter of applying pressure to close the gaps and squeeze out most of the epoxy. This pommel was threaded onto the tang, so that's where the pressure came from here.

Also, make sure there's no burrs anywhere. Sometimes those can create gaps.
