So the wife is gone for the night, and i'm sitting at home drinking and watching zombie movies. "Land of the Dead" is playing right now, and i'm playing with my new kukri to pass the time

I ran out of tequila about 2 hours ago, so (Don't Judge Me) i have degraded to drinking the wife's champagne.

What are you folks up to?

I am a bit further along than i was when i posted this thread. Apparently, champagne is some stout chit....

i loves me some good rum, but it makes me crazy. Like starting fights, throwing things at cops, remembering absolutely nothing in the morning kinda crazy

so i sticks to tequila and i'm usually aight.

By the way, it may just be drunk me talking, but i have just decided that i'm buying myself a 911 on monday (payday). Is it just me, or does that thing make the BK9 and the Junglas it's B*tch

I'm 9 hrs into a double here at the nut hut watchin' a feller sleep. Drinkin' water & good ol' Sundrop!
 
It's even better with some homemade white liquor. Matter of fact, that's the only good use of the diet version!
 
Okay so drinking is a bad influence on me... here's why

I quit smoking about 18 months ago. Haven't had ONE smoke since then. The wife makes it much easier to stick to that, but she's gone tonight.

About 5 minutes ago, i got up, got dressed, grabbed my CC pistol, and got ready for a walk to the corner store to pick up a pack. If it wasn't raining like a pissed off fire hydrant outside, i have no doubt that an 15 minutes, i'd have been walking back from the store with a 6 pack of dos equis and a pack of camels

i'm weak
 
The last from a 6 pack of Full Sail Amber Ale, lookin up at the stars on my last night in Big Sur. It's gonna be hard to leave this place tomorrow morning, but it's not so bad as my next stop is the Redwood Forests
 
I had a glass of wine with a steak and now I'm just practicing some drawing to dry fire with my new toy- a 9mm 1911-the one on the bottom. I need a new knife- I heard there was a ganza coming soon.......and can anyone tell me how long the pork shank is??

It's as long as you've been dreaming of their being something as epic as the pork shank

(which translates to: i have no clue but someone will tell you, so drink another glass of wine!)
 
Been selling a lot of my knives lately....which translates to: got some money to buy other ones, lets drink!
 
LOL... There is nothing like a 'guys night in'... when the wife is out.

Personally, I buy some great single malt or single barrel bourbon... and a couple fine cigars and a great prime steak.

I drink, eat and smoke cigars in the house with some Clint Eastwood or John Wayne on the tube. Why? Because I can. I OWN this house (unless she's here) :o



Oh... Edit to add: Sierra Nevada Summer Ale for me tonight... goes great with the pork loin I smoked today. Life is great in the land of me. :D
