That is a custom made by CrimsonFaclon07 here on BF. 5160 steel, full convex grind with a zero convex edge. It chops like a demon

I feel a little bad because of the "Talon Hole" but it was requested by me because i wanted to attack a paracord guard to it. I don't think it's a really big issue though, as it's a one off, and i paid quite literally cost of materials for it... not a "for profit" job on his part

he's a very very new maker, and made it in collaboration with me just to get the experience.

I'm 95% sure the Osprey comes in .40, or it's in the works. I know for a fact they make a 10mm, but with the .40, you'll still get a sonic crack. I'd convert it down to 9mm & kit it out. Lwd barrels are about $120 & the 33rnd mags are drop in. Take all of 2 minutes to go from .40 to hushed 9mm.
 
oh, see you said "can" for some reason, the champagne converted that to "drum"

they definitely make a can for the glock 22, but it's a pain in the BUTT getting the form 4 done and getting a stamp, and since it's really not all that useful with a .40, i ain't done it
 
Doubtful that you can find a chief LEO in Travis Co. to sign off on a can.


BTW... good luck with your champagne drunk in the manana. :D It hurts... don't ask me how I know.

i know, because i called and talked with the head duty officer at my PD, and he gave me the 9th degree... i felt like i was being interrogated.

He asked why i wanted a "silencer" (note he said silencer even though i was saying suppressor). When i told him that i wanted to be able to shoot my pistol without ear protection, his response was "none of the ranges around here allow you to shoot without ear protection, so you don't really need that"

and it just went downhill from there. Seriously i felt like he was accusing me of being a criminal... so i never even bothered to apply for a form 4. This is liberal country my friend.

and DS, you can chase Turkey with whatever you want as long as you're drinking turkey... that's a man's drink!
 
^^^^ yeah. Bexar County the same. Yankee Police chiefs don't like Amendment 2.


BTW... We should keep this thread on track by discussing Amendment 21, and celebrate the repeal of Prohibition.

Trust me sir, i'm drinking... WAY too much. In about 13 hours, when i wake up, i'm going to HATE my life, but right now, i feel GOOD!!!
