It's still Bear and Pict's fault...

Yep, Brian was gone for a little while and Bear and Pict got out of control and posted a bunch of machete porn.... This is probably mostly Pict's doing, but I'm obsessed with these South American leather sheaths which isn't entirely practical when you live in in Upstate New York... My wife keeps saying "Thats a big knife that arrived toady.." and I reply "Well, it's a big town.." Anyways I got this in the mail today, machete and sheath maker unknown, dull as the back of a butter knife, but man I like these sheaths so I thought I would post a pic in case anybody else had the disease...

That is cool. Can you fit one of your tramontina's in that thing?

I will have to use 'well its a big town excuse' on mine. There are also many variants on this excuse. 'Well honey, you see, it is a mid-sized town so I have this 4" knife to go with it". 'Here we are in this tiny village, thank God I've got my necker'

What happens when you go to a mega city?

Truth is that I'm not even in a village, I'm in the sticks so I'm probably relegated to a NAA revolver and a Leatherman Micra by rights, but it sounded good!

For size: the Tram 18", 14" Tram bolo, New Machete, 12" Tram (if you don't have one, you need one!). It looks like a 14" standard Tram might fit, if only I had one...Hmmm

Thanks. Alex Bay is a fun little town. Especially during Pirate Days. Aye..You might be able to get away with wearing that machete/sheath in town that week. Just put on the eye patch and blouse up the pants :D.

Nice stuff man. You got three of my favorite machetes there. Just know that you have all the steel you will ever need for the desert/swamps/jungle/backyard and the wild. Now call Leatherface for some light kydex. It will be another thing you can blame on me.
