I went to the hospital yesterday evening to have an MRI done (for my gimpy knees). Before they'd look at me, the doc said I'd have to empty my pockets of all metallic objects. Well, as you all can imagine, this was a rather time consuming task. So, continuing in this vein, what is everybody carrying today?

I have the following:

1) right rear pants pocket - large Sebenza

2) left front pants pocket - Dyad Jr.

3) right front pants pocket - Leatherman XE6 Juice on a lanyard

4) right jacket pocket - Surefire E1

5) left jacket pocket - disposable lighter, change

6) inside jacket breast pocket - wallet, Parker roller pen

7) outside jacket breast pocket - Persol sunglasses

8) clipped to belt w/carabiner - keys with yellow Photon II microlight, red Inova microlight, spycapsule, safety pin, Victorinox Rambler, blue Traser Glowring.

9) in my gym bag - Al Mar SERE Operator

Geez, that seems like a lot of stuff ....
 
Right now I'm packing:

In my shirt pocket:
Nokia 6310i GPRS cell phone

In my left pocket:
Handkerchief, Palm 105

In my right pocket:
Wallet, Francesco Pachi' small folding fighter (one of the two ever produced :D)

Attached to my belt: Led-Lenser micro light.

On my wrist: Seiko Kinetic watch

In my jacket left pocket:
Documents, IoMega ZIP disk with downloaded expansions for Combat Flight Simulator II, Key Defender

In my Right jacket pocket:
home keys, car documents, car key, garage RC

Never carried more than one small knife if not by accident. Carrying a knife is illegal in Italy, unless you have a "valid reason" (whatever it is, and since it's judged by the policeman who questions you, it's illegal period, because there's never a reason valid enough). So I have to pack small and reasonable. Something I can say it's just for lunch, no "tacticals" or anything similar.

Good timing. My carry has changed pretty dramatically in the last few weeks.

Right Front Pocket - Convex ground Dozier General Utility fixed blade, with Kydex pocket sheath. No more Sebenza for a while.

Left Pocket - Just money and pocket change. No gadgets or knives.

Keychain looped over belt - Keys, combination whistle/compass/thermometer, Photon2 LED light.

Hanging from Belt Loop - Dakota caribeener watch

Sheath on belt - Leatherman Juice CS4.

Right Back Pocket - Cheap wallet and Inova X5 LED light.

Left Back Pocket - Cheap plastic comb.

Jacket pocket - Duncan Freehand yo-yo and Altoids survival kit.

Every once and a while I am reminded how lucky I am that people died for my freedoms. This is one of those moments. People of Italy, and other oppressed nations, rise up!

I'm still afraid to put my folder in a pocket, for fear of cutting my legs, or worse, my other leg. Maybe in time I'll learn to trust it more.

I am carrying my Spyderco Rescue 93mm and my Sanyo 4900 vision phone as well as a Surefire E-1.

LF pocket: Recently received black Spec-Ops T.H.E. Wallet,which is more like a folding briefcase.....
For work: Add Nite Ize belt pouch with SOG Paratool, cheap Bic lighter and a yellow body Princeton Tec Rage flashlight.
Wrist: Seiko Kinetic Sports 150
Jacket: Fisher Military Space Pen, Fisher Bullit Space pen in black, cheap Eveready pen light(which reminds me...time for new batts), a Quantum lighter and some chlorophyll minty fresh gum.
Keys: Leatherman Micra in On-Scene Kydex, Photon I in red and a Fox 40 whistle.

Overall I'm pretty happy with my set up. It sure has improved since finding this place, but there is always more room for improvement.;)

belt- Dozier Straight Personal in horizontal sheath, cross draw

inside jacket- old Benchmade CQC7 beater knife (has had to be heavily resharpened due to a broken tip and then has some of my first attempts at filework done to it after that....not pretty but it still works)

backpack pocket (I'm a college student)- medium sized SAK
