Para SE? Endura G10? Caly3? I'm sure glad I got those! I am especially astounded by watching the serrated Para go away.
 
Well, there's our confirmation that the Caly 3 is being disco'd. Might have to grab another one before they go bye-bye.
 
I'm excited to see what's in store for 2010!

And very surprised at how long of a run the Captain had, I would have never expected it to last so long.
 
I went ahead and ordered another CF Caly 3. Although I have a CF and a G-10, The CF is one of my favorite EDC knives for work and I'd hate to lose it and not have a replacement around. I wonder if there will be another generation coming, possibly with screw construction?
 
I'm counting 40 items that are being discontinued.
Can't wait to see what's in the 2010 catalog.

The way I read that list, the Caly3 CF hasn't been discontinued - unless it happened earlier and I missed it. I'd bet that the speculation that there will be a Caly4 is probably in the black but we'll have to wait for the 2010 new product announcements to find out.
 
Just my gut feeling from reading all the posts on this forum, but I'd say that it's a safe bet that there will be a LOT more offerings of FFG blades.

I could be wrong about this, but lockbacks may be losing favor to the liner lock models? Why? One hand open and close. Maybe that's why the Sage is staying and the Caly is going away.
 
I didnt think the barong or khukuri would last long.

Caly 3 and G10 endura though.... wow.

Why is the G10 endura going and the G10 delica staying?

Just guessing here but...
Has to be because of sales. Sal has said it a few times that depending on sales a sprint run will become part of the lineup (Orange Military-IIRC). Conversely if sales are not up to standards the line will be discontinued (even if loved by people). I would guess based on this announcement that the G10 Delica is selling better than the G10 Endura.
 
SE Para? Entire Kopa series? Spin? :(

Let's hope we get some fresh blood in the 2010 lineup.

We can hope, but seeing as how the CF is currently on close out at one retailer I don't see them keeping it but not the G-10 version.
 
Cento4 is leaving but Cento3 is staying...
Caly 3 is leaving. Oh well. I can always get the CF version, or Caly4 (hint hint :D)
I have similar high hopes for a Para 2

I'm upset at the loss of Dfly and Cricket etched though. Cricket Etched is going to be my next Spydie if possible.


Edit: I just saw the release of the Warrior...oh boy.
