This is a 'borrowed photo, but other than the handle material the knife is identical in every aspect. It is old, and very dirty. been sitting in a very dry but dirty "root cellar". It looks like it never cut anything.

Wolfman I'm not really sure what it is that makes the knife in your pic a POS? Of course from the pic I can't tell how thick the blade is, how even is the grind, or what kind of steel it is made from. It is a simple knife, but that does not make it a bad knife. many of my customs would look something like that picture in a mediocre photograph. For example that handle could be cheap plastic or ivory by the photo.

Like many of you I was given a POS by my daughter as a gift souvenir from a trip to Spain. It was nice enough of her to think about her knife nut dad, so I accepted it very gracefully and thanked her. I still have it.
