Congrats, your priorities are now in order;1) Baby 2) Mommy 3) sleep. Its a wonderful ride enjoy all of it. My son sleeping on my chest his first night out is the coolest thing I've done in this life.

From the mouths of babes, Daddy when are you going to "straighten" that knife out? My 4 year old about my 12" CAK.

Was it worth it, just to have the baby born on a rich relative's birthday? ;)

I have a 7 yr old girl, and Yes THEY are the most beautiful thing in the world!

Just a warning however...That mental gap or distance that you have on her.....she will catch you and close it much more quickly than you can imagine!!!! ;)

Pics should be up and coming in a few days. Evey is doing great. She and my wife are getting the breastfeeding thing down a little better.

She seems pretty mellow tempered as of right now, so hopefully that keeps up.

There was a beautiful rainbow cast over the hospital yesterday afternoon. My wife and mother in law seem to think that Evey's grandpa's Irish eyes were smiling from Heaven. I think they might be onto something;)

And Warty, you are right about the boys thing. I have already formed a blood oath with my best buddy when it comes to boys. His daughter (my goddaughter) is about 18 months older than my Evey. Don't worry, I'll have a little practice before it's my little girl's turn. I also have plenty of places to bury the bodies;)

Oh, and Warty, I'll be in touch about that thing we talked about when I get back home and settled:D:thumbup:

Well sorry I haven't posted pictures yet, but being a new dad is a lot of work:D

We have a ton of them, but I haven't had time to upload them.

It sounds cliche, but it really is like flipping a switch when you have a baby. The 3 hour "naps" you get through the night, the washing of bottles, the plethora of dirty diapers...I wouldn't change a thing. She's just the most awesome thing in my life, and I've had a pretty damn good life so far:D:thumbup:
